Artistry Cards will be launching in October 2009

Introducing Artistry Cards, an exciting new online stationary company that sells socially responsible, eco-friendly, superior quality greeting cards designed by up-and-coming Canadian artists.

The concept is simple: Every month, Artistry Cards spotlights four artists, whose work appears on the cover of the one-of-a-kind greeting cards. Each artist picks a charity, to which Artistry Cards donates 5% of all sales. What's more, giving Artistry Cards helps to save the environment because all cards are printed on recycled and post-consumer stock.

When you give an Artistry Card, you show people that while you value them individually, you also help to support a larger community of art, sustainability and giving.

Artistry Cards are designed to be treasured and can be framed. The inside is blank, allowing you to write your own creative message, no matter what the occasion.
Cards measure 4.25 x 5.50 and are printed digitally on high quality 100% recycled stock. All cards come with envelopes made from 100% recycled stock.

A key mandate of Artistry Cards is to support and promote local Canadian artists, acting as a platform for wider exposure, while providing an additional means of income.

We are looking for submissions from artists who create exciting work that challenges and inspires - and who want to make a difference.

Artists receive 25% of sales and an additional 5% is paid to a charity of their choice. Artists can either select a charity that Artistry Cards works with on a regular basis or ask us to approach a new charity.

We work with contemporary artists in a wide variety of media, including painting, printmaking, drawing, illustration, photography, graphic design, poetry and mixed media.
